Favourite First Sentences

This is going to be a super quick post but I couldn’t let this weeks topic slide by πŸ™‚ I’ve noticed that the 5 I have picked are all from books that are on my favourite shelf. I know to some these might not be the most epic of first sentences but they are my favourite because they remind me of a time/place/feeling etc
